Welcome to “TopCoder Analytics - Launch Marathon Match Contest Storyboard” contest. The goal of this project is to eliminate all manual process for create and manage marathon matches contest competition and integrated all administration process related to it into TopCoder platform called “TC Direct (Cockpit)”. In this contest, we need your help to create look and feel  for the new launch marathon matches contest in TC Direct.

At the end of this contest, we are looking a clean and strong web design for the application that present best user experience and following our current TC Direct layout as the base design.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

TopCoder already have a platform to manage software development project called TC Direct (http://www.topcoder.com/direct), This platform is very powerfull for handle and monitoring software projects. This project goals is to move and integrates all Marathon Match functionality into this platform.

In this contest, we need your help to create look and feel for several pages from our wireframes which contains functionality to launch Marathon Match contest. Here are the pages requirements:

General
- Please use TopCoder Direct GUI Kit attached in Download section to simplify your works when design all these pages.
- Create separate screens to show correct flow of your submission. Give proper numbering!
- Give us clear notes of your idea/suggestion to help us understand your solutions.
- The main purpose of this contest is to revised the current Launch Marathon Matches contest. Here are the pages requirements :

Details
1.    Step One - General Contest Information page, pay attention to the problem statement selectbox,there is a popup window will appear once the problem value is selected, this popup must be created. Also, please create the error condition if there is fields empty or invalid.
2.    Step Two - Match Details page, create the editable and read only mode for match details content.    
3.    Step Three - Match Rules page,  create the editable and read only mode for match rules content.
4.    Step Four - Summary Content, create the editable and read only mode for the content details.
5.    Step Five and Step Five Review – Order Review Page.
6.    Activate and Activate Review – Activate Page.
7.    Read Only Mode Page

Target Audience
There will be 3 user roles that using this application, they are :
1.    Potential Client/Customer
2.    Marathon Match Copilot
3.    Project Manager

Judging Criteria
These are the judging criteria for this contest, which are :
1.    Any ideas to present great user experience, Ease of use and quick, intuitive access to functionality and content for users are important for success as measured by user adoption among our customers. Make sure add some notes in your submission folder explaining what kind of idea/design enhancement that you’re offering to our client to increase good user experience.
2.    Design skill, how well you applied your design skill into your submission and showing some professional design result and looks comfortable for human eyes. This judging criteria including the sharp and cleanliness of your submission, your color combination choices, your font size and type choices, and how well your submission can make user comfortable using the application.  
3.    Submission Structure, You must arrange your submission layer in ordered list, we need it to be arranged according their place and their functionality, for example header should be included in header folder, footer, content, sidebar, title, logo, etc. It is required so our user can easily found some elements from your submission and replace it if we have any additional change in the future.
4.    Completeness of the storyboard, you are required to complete the storyboard, it means any information from the wireframes should be included or modified (if you have an idea) to your storyboard. You must send all screen that required as stated in Studio tournament format, if your submission not complete, we will reduce your score.

Submission & Source Files :
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
All  Screen Requirements stated above. Files should be saved as JPG/PNG format.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file.

Final Fix :
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Stock Photography

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
