Welcome to the Cessna Cash Flow Analysis iPad App Wireframe Contest! Cessna's sales team has a cash flow analysis calculator that is spreadsheet-based and provides a salesperson or customer with a breakdown of what it costs to own and operate a selected airplane over a specified number of years.

The sales team would like an iPad application that does this cash flow analysis that they can use interactively while working with a potential customer.

This application will be a key tool for our salesforce to sell more airplanes. The sales team as well as Cessna's CEO is excited to see the results!

For this contest, the client is looking clean, simple, impressive and user-friendly iPad app wireframe design for cash flow analysis calculator.

Primary Goal & Design Considerations

For this contest, you are going to create the wireframe application for iPad based from the provided spreadsheet and screenshots ( as reference only), and with the features outlined below.

You are going to create both iPad app orientations (Landscape and Portrait)

The provided spreadsheet uses macros, you need to enable that to see its functionality

Requirements

We need the following screens and features, keeping in mind the iOS standard.

We are looking for a native iOS GUI, the app should use as the native/iOS User Gestures. It is critical that your design takes advantage of user gestures - multi-touch, swipe, pinch, grab, tapping, etc. Please clearly document how you intend users to physically interact with your interface. Please see the iOS standard for your guidelines

  1. Home
    it should have features for:
    - New Cash Flow Analysis (this will load a new cash flow analysis)
    - Load Cash Flow Scenario (this will load saved cash flow analysis scenario)
    - Compare (see details below)
    - Settings (see details below)

  2. New Cash Flow Analysis
    - this will load the new cash flow analysis screen with default values
    - to run a scenario from the given spreadsheet, you need to do this:
    1. Click Choose Aircraft (C 8)
    2. Select the Cessna Citation CJ2+
    3. Click Process Input (C 200)
    - each scenarios will have the following screens:

    • Ownership Costs
      - see the provided spreadsheet on line above row 76 for the details field category, fields, and their description.
      - the black fields should not be in the UI, but may be in calculations and their defaults are important
      - there maybe too many input fields on this screen, so be creative on how to display them

    • Operating Costs
      - see the provided spreadsheet on line below row 76 for the details field category, fields, and their description.
      - the black fields should not be in the UI, but may be in calculations and their defaults are important
      - there maybe too many input fields on this screen, so be creative on how to display them

    • Results
      - this is on row 215 of the provided spreadsheet
      - this is a populated results from Ownership Costs and Operating Costs input values

    • Ownership Cost Detail
      - this is on row 313 of the provided spreadsheet
      - this is a populated results from Ownership Costs and Operating Costs input values

    • Operating Cost Detail
      - this is on row 374 of the provided spreadsheet
      - this is a populated results from Ownership Costs and Operating Costs input values

    • After-Tax Cash Flow Summary
      - this is on row 491 of the provided spreadsheet

    • Cash Flow Parameters
      - this is on column AB, row 551 of the provided spreadsheet
      - this is a populated results from Ownership Costs and Operating Costs input values

  3. Compare
    - prompt to pick 2-3 saved scenarios to view in compare mode

  4. Saved scenarios
    - this will be a pop-up list of all the saved scenarios
    - once a scenario is picked, it will load that selected scenario

  5. Settings - where you can change the default input values

Judging Criteria
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
- User Experience
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the requirements.
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow
- How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Generated HTML files with all the requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Final Fixes
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
