Challenge Overview
The National Insurance Producers Registry (NIPR) maintains the Producer Database (PDB), which contains credential information about existing producers (advisors/licensed sales representatives). To accelerate the process of creating and updating credential information for producers the vendor compensation system integrates with the PDB via files formats. Integration means producer data at Morpheus within the vendor compensation system can be resynchronized with PDB, thereby ensuring latest and accurate data. Credential information is a generic categorization for the Licenses, Company Appointments, and Registrations a producer needs to obtain in order sell financial products. Licenses and Company Appointments for producers can be downloaded from the PDB, via services.
The goal of this project is to automate the download of licenses from PDB - to programmatically request and retrieve the Company Specialized Report (CSR) via CGI calls.
