Primary Goal & Design Considerations

The primary goal of this application is to design iPad application, based from the provided wireframe.

We are interested in ideas on how to display the content effectively that will be easy to navigate on an iPad. You will be given HTML wireframes for the flows and the pages we need and with the features outlined below. You should think about iPad interactions, any functionality should needs to be represented in your designs. We are also open to new ideas you might have

General Guideline:

  1. We are looking for a native iOS GUI, the app should use as the native/iOS User Gestures. It is critical that your design takes advantage of user gestures - multi-touch, swipe, pinch, grab, tapping, etc. Please clearly document how you intend users to physically interact with your interface. For guidelines on iOS standard, please refer to this iOS Standard page.

  2. Your designs must be unique and cannot mimic other apps or characters (real or fictional).

  3. Size: iPad 2 - 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 72 pixels per inch (ppi)

  4. Orientation: You are going to design both iPad app orientations (Landscape and Portrait)

      - click "Run Cash Flow" button from the wireframe to get to this page
      - replace the placeholder with the actual details of the report
      - format the results like in the provided report.pdf
      - these results are populated from Ownership Costs and Operating Costs input values, the results are:
