Welcome to the Torrent Browser Dashboard Wireframes!Our clients are looking to build torrent browser dashboard.It is to provide users a centralized web application where users can view status and Meta information from runs/analysis coming from multiple Torrent Servers.

For this contest, the client is looking clean, simple, impressive and user-friendly web application wireframe design for torrent browswer dashboard web application.

Primary Goal

For this contest, you are going to create the wireframes by referencing to existing conceptualization document. At the end of this contest the Client is looking to have a clean, intuitive, and easy-to-use set of wireframes that will be great input into a storyboard design/UX contest.

Requirements& Design Considerations  

Primary Considerations:

  1. For header, footer and other elements, clients have their enterprise standards. The link of accessing them is provided in the contest forum.
  2. Easy navigation. You can also refer to clients' standards.

The following pages are in scope for this contest.  Their supported features and subpages are listed below:

1. Login and Logout
- users enter username and password to login
- it should include recover passowrd link

2. Dashboard Home Page
- this will be the main dashboard view, which will act as a home page for a logged in user
- note that it provides the ability to manage servers(add/remove server) for admin users
- more details can be found in section 4.4.3 of conceptualizatio document.

3. Recover Password Page
- The user is required to enter username when recovering password

4. List all Servers
- Users can see all the servers in a list
- The user will be able to explore each server information and its associated information such as instruments and runs.

5. View Server Run Report Page
- Users will be able to see the full run report for the given server.
- Noted that the metrics for the run will be shown based on the view that the user has defined for their dashboard.

6. View Server Analysis Detail Page
- It would display all the metrics and meta information for the specific analysis
- It includes a link back to the run report on the respective Torrent Server.

7. List All Instruments Page
- Users will be able to see all the instruments for a given server.
- Users can view instrument info and its associated information such as runs and analysis

8. View Instrument Info
- Users will be able to drill down into an instrument to see more information about it.Please refer to 4.4.10 section for more details.
- Users will be able to select multiple analyses and compare metrics

9. View Instrument Analysis Detail Page
- Clicking on an analysis would display all the metrics and meta information for the specific analysis.
- It includes a link back to the run report on the respective Torrent Server filtered by the given Instrument

10. List All Projects Page
- Users will be able to list all the project associated with them as well as all the projects available (i.e. projects of other users)
- Please refer to section 4.4.13 in conceptualization for more details.

11. Create/Remove/View/Copy Project Pages
- Users can create a new project.
- Users can remove a project from their dashboard view
- Users will be able to view the specific of any given project.
- Users will be able to make a copy of any project.

12. Export Project Data
- Users will be able to choose the specific format of the export and the file location of the exported data. Excel, Tab-delimited, PDF, and JSON formats will be available.

13. Manage Project Runs Page
- Users will be able to manage the runs within a project
- More details can be found in the section 4.4.17 of conceptualization document.

14. Create/Update/Remove/Copy Group Pages
- these pages are used to manage groups
- you can refer to related sections in the conceptualization document.

15. Export Group Data
- Users will be able to export data defined only at the level of the group

16. Perform Global Search
- Users can search servers, instruements, runs and analysis and users.

17. Compare Runs Page
- Users can compare runs in a variety of situations
- There are three cases: server, instrument and project

18. Define/Change Run Metrics View Pages
- Admin users can define a global filter for the metrics that will show up in the run overview section whenever users look into the run metrics. This is basically a way for them to control which metrics will be displayed in their dashboard when they compare runs.
- Admin users are allowed to take the Run Metrics View parameters and modify them

19. Add/Remove Server
- Admin users can add or remove server
- These two features can be exposed on dashboard page

20. Create/Remove/Update account
- it provides the account management
- please refer to related sections in the conceptualization document.

21. List Accounts Page
- This is a simple listing of all the accounts sorted by username.
- The admin can sort the listing in either ascending or descending alphabetic order by username.

Judging Criteria
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
- User Experience
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the requirements.
- How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow
- How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
Submission File
Generated HTML files with all the requested contest requirements stated above.
Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Final Fixes
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
