Challenge Summary

Welcome to the MyFashionArmy Storyboard Design Contest!
MyFashionArmy.com site is an online community that allows users to give and receive fashion feedback instantaneously. Users simply upload a photo of what you’re wearing to the forum and receive immediate feedback and tips from other users in the Fashion Army community. And also, user can return the favor by commenting on others outfit posts.   

The goal of this contest is to create the looks and feel of the web site based on the provided PDF file.
This file is NOT a wireframe – it is a simple visual representation of pages and elements that should be on the screen. You have to follow the position of elements.

Please follow the slides and do the Tasks below:
- Design a clean and professional "My Fashion Army" logo at top
- Ads Area at right rail : it would be multiple images(ads) instead of one image
- Ads Area at bottom : it would be single image (Ads)
- On slides, you will see two version of navigation : logged-in users will get 'Home,Profile,Upload an Outifit', and guest will get 'How it work,etc'
- You should not follow the colors on slides (ie:font color,button color,etc), so you are free to make it looks better

Footer
Since footer area is not available in PDF file, please design footer area that contains :
- menus (privacy,term of use, etc)
- Copyright text and Year information (ie: copyright Lorem Ipsum  2011-2012)
- Social Profile(twitter, facebook,etc) area, but for now please make them as placeholders

Login Page (slide #1)
Please follow the slide and do the Tasks below:
  - Add two dummy menu items in  the Navigation next to Contact Us
  - Add 'sign-in with facebook' button
  - Replace the image placeholder with a new illustration of your own design that represents the 'Fashion Army'
 
Home Page (slide #2)
There are many blue boxs, each blue box representing outfit items, and outfit item should contains:
  - Photo placeholder (do not use photos – just empty placeholders)
  - Username
  - Outfit title with small font size
  - comment/review count
the position all of these elements is up to you

Add an Outfit Page (slide #3)

This page will be used by users to submit what they want to wear, so he/she would get the feedbacks from the other users. Output of this form will be displayed in Outfit Detail Page.
Tasks :
- Provide a hightlighted box to coverage the steps ( “put your fellow ....” area)  
- Follow the existing element form
- Add 'add more' link/button for photo upload field

Outfit Detail Page (slide : none)
This page will contains :
 - Outfit title
 - Description
 - Carousel photos (small size) with preview area above carousel

   if images is less than 4, then please remove control button (next and previous button)   
 - List of feedback comments from each reviewer with a small photo thumbnail avatar in front of each comment.
 - Feedback form that contains a textarea and submit button

My Profile Page (slide #4)
follow the slide and do the Tasks below :
 - You are free to move 'update profile' button to anywhere for better position
 - Add a Quote area, it is an area on the profile for a personal quote the user has provided.
 - Show the user’s username, gender and address information.
 - Recent Activies Area

Target Audience:
- general users who want to add knowledge about fashion
- fashionable people
- stylists
- fashion/clothing industry/manufacture, they would pay for an Ads space  

Branding Guidelines:
- Color : Up to Designers
- Logo : you need to design one
- Size: minimum width 960px, and must support fluid layout in wide browser

Judging Criteria :
- Professional look of website
- logo
- User-friendly interface is the most important element

Submission and Source Files
Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode and place a screenshot from your submission within it.

Submission Files
All requested contest requirements/screens as JPG or PNG files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design as required by the contest, such as layered PSD or AI files.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify content or graphic/color/font to fix design issues

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

Screening:

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
