Challenge Overview
ABCD Web Tool is an enterprise application, purposed to provide users with a comprehensive manufacturing delivery status of all of the parts and/or features in an IBM System x product configuration prior to ordering.
The expected benefit of this application is to provide IBM and customers with better information to make decision during configuration regarding selection(s), which may delay delivery of IBM products.
Final Submission Guidelines
User Interface (UI) component is one out of 3 towers of the ABCD Web Tool. Other two are: Configuration Management Application (CMA) and Data Sourcing (DS).
UI component will interface or exchange information with CMA component and so the design and development of UI component is expected to follow the requirement specifications outlined as blueprint. Any changes/alterations will impact assembly of UI & CMA, impacting overall application.
Note: UI component will be hosted on different physical server than CMA/DS.
