Challenge Overview
The EACM Taskmaster process is a continuously running process which manages a queue of ABRs (Asynchronous Business Rules). These ABRs are independent ‘jobs’ which perform a variety of tasks within the EACM system.
Taskmaster pulls these jobs off the queue and executes them.
With upcoming projects the number of these jobs being run will increase significantly. The complexity of the jobs is also increasing and many new ones are being added.
For these reasons a business need has arisen to monitor and track the occurrences and performance of these jobs.
This component will scan through a specific taskmaster log file to produce reports for the days included in the input log file. The basic report will contain statistics for each unique ABR group which has run. Other reports containing more targeted information can also be generated.
