Challenge Overview
The MTS Seller Automation application as primarily a batch processing application without a publicly accessible user interface has limited methods of secure data delivery. The limited infrastructure provides for manual delivery (current process), ID/password protected FTP data delivery or an application initiated pull of data from a secure data source. Another limitation in these data delivery options is synchronicity. None of the options available to the current infrastructure offer any real type of “On Demand” secure self service.
In order to provide more flexibility to the processing options, a new end user interface is required.
