Challenge Overview
Contractor Sourcing Application Time and Material (CSA T&M) is part of IBM e-Procurement system, which automates the IBM requirement of sub-contractors. IBM raises their sub-contractor requests in CSA and these requests are then distributed to the external suppliers. Suppliers submit the candidate/response against the CSA requests. IBM finalizes the candidate and fulfills their requirement with the suitable candidates.
This design provides a WS which don’t depend on one particular table, but can be used for any table update, insert, select or delete. This WS returns response in XML format with column name and associated value of that column for select query. For other queries WS returns response in XML format with total count of affected rows.
