Challenge Summary

Welcome to “Journal Voucher Entry Tool Wireframes” contest. The client for this project is a company that have few applications created in Microsoft Access and VBA.  All applications work very well. However, support for these applications has become non-existent and the company no longer able to provide support for these applications. This project purpose is to fully rewrite and replace 3 applications from MS Access format to a modern web application. In this contest, we need your help to design workflow for one of the application called “Journal Voucher Tool” so user can easily managing the Journal Voucher in the new application. This contest is our first contest from 3 wireframes contest planning to launch in this project. So what are you waiting for? Let’s participated and compete to get interesting prizes offered in our contest.

At the end of this contest, we would like to see a wireframes that optimizing the application user experienced and fully replace all functionality from old application to the new application.

Journal Voucher Tool is applications being used in our clients company to manage voucher and receives ledger adjusments from the ledger system. In this contest, we need your help to fully redesign the workflow from the current application written in MS access and VBA to web based technologies, Here are the requirements needed to be created in this contest :

1.    View Homepage (2.1)
2.    Get Help (2.2)
3.    Perform Lookup (2.3 – 2.4)
4.    Manage Journal Voucher (2.5 – 2.8)
Important : To get a better understanding regarding the current Journal Tool Application functionality and input/output, please refer to specification documents and Screenshot files attached in this contest. All functionality from these two references must be appear in your submission!!

Target Audience
There will be 3 kind of audiences that will use this application, which are :
-    Journal Voucher Cost Admin -- It is the responsibility of this user to review all cost records that have been populated for that particular run.  They can then make any part number adjustments, as necessary and then decide to set the processing flag on each cost record.
-    Journal Voucher Revenue User – It is the responsibility of this user to review all revenue records that have been populated for that particular run.  They can then make any part number adjustments, as necessary and then decide to set the processing flag on each revenue record.
-    Journal Voucher Adminstrator -  This person can review both cost and revenue records.  They should have the ability to set the processing flag on all records.
Notes : All user will share same privileges on the application.

Judging Criteria
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
-    User Experience
-    Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the requirements.
-    How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow
-    How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Generated HTML files with all the requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Final Fixes
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
