Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Squids 2 Admin Wireframe Part 1 Contest. This is continuation of previous wireframe contest, this time we need your help create the Admin pages to complete our Squids 2 wireframe. The goal of this wireframe contest is to design an easy-to-use, efficient browser-based application that will be used to create storyboard design and explains the page/elements flow of Squids2 application.

At the end of this contest, we are looking for a process flow and layout design of the pages outlined below that are part of the whole application. This application must be user friendly, intuitive, and easy to use.

Round 1

1) Intial wireframe design of the following sections:
- System Admin
- Application Admin
2) Any note for the client about your submission

Round 2

1) Final wireframe submission with all the features mentioned in the Requirement section
2) Any note for the client about your submission


Primary Goal & Design Considerations

The goal of this contest is to create the Admin part of Squids 2 around the provided wireframe and with the outlined requirements below.

IMPORTANT: It has to follow the previous submissions look and feel but we still want you to be creative and come up with innovation. We just want to make sure that you understand that we are willing to talk about all options if they will make the applications better for our users. Requirements

Create the following required Admin tasks that are breakdown from their distinct administration sections based from the provided documents.

The documents refers to the current application you need to click around the current Squids Application http://ec2-72-44-58-56.compute-1.amazonaws.com/General/Home.aspx (Note: please use IE to play with, it may have problem with other browsers.) to help you understands our application more better.

Please check the General Guidelines document in creating your wireframe. This is located in the attachment file "DocumentsPart1.zip" under the file "GeneralGuidelines.doc"

  • System Admin
    - only visible and editable by admins
    - ability to configure system level rules, users, fields, etc.
    - See SystemAdmin_Reqs document for the detailed requirements (contained in attachment "DocumentsPart1.zip")

  • Program Admin
    - Ability to create programs and add projects/releases to the program
    - See ProgramAdmin_Reqs document for the detailed requirements (contained in attachment "DocumentsPart1.zip")

  • Project Admin
    - Ability to create and configure projects
    - Ability to display information pulled from Clarity (project system of record).
    - Ability to set Project Manager information.

  • Application Admin
    - Ability to create applications.
    - Ability to tie to EAPM and display EAPM information.
    - Ability to configure application owners.

Judging Criteria
- Our main concern is to get great user Experience of Squids Application.
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the attached requirements and documents.
- How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Generated HTML files with all the requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Final Fixes
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
