Challenge Summary

Welcome to “Prediction Analysis Tool Storyboard” contest. Todays business environment is the most demanding in the past decades. One way of maintaining business agility  is by trying to predict the market changes and the impact that different strategies might have on the market. This project purpose is to create new application that implementing prediction algorithms along with other custom algorithm using the current contract backlog and sales volume data collected for each platform as variables to predict, analyzed and testing complex business scenario so it can be used to make business decisions.

In this contest, we need your help to create look and feel for the new Prediction Analysis Tool (PAT) applications using our wireframes and IBM web design and patterns standards as your references. At the end of this contest, we are looking a clean and strong web design for the application that present best user experience.

Our client company business process right now is done manually by collecting data from various sources and loading it to a spreadsheet. This manual procedure is no longer suit for todays business environment and must be changes into something new that more flexible, available over the internet, and can be used by sales manager worldwide. This is where PAT Application must be developed to replace the manual procedure. We already finished the first step to build the application (wireframes finished), and we need your help now to create the look and feel for the new application.

Here are the screen requirements that needs to be create in this contest :
1.    Login page / Error login page
2.    Homepage (login as sales manager admin, hover the chart to see hover window)
3.    Predictions page
4.    New prediction – Initial settings
5.    New prediction – Inputs
6.    New prediction – Run (summary content should be taken from initial settings and inputs page)
7.    View Prediction (hover each chart to see hover window)
8.    New what if case page (with popup for successfull create “what if case” and “run case now”)
9.    View what if case page.
10.    Generate reports (click “generate” button and choose case 1)
11.    Help page

Branding Guidelines :

-    Sales Manager User
-    Sales Manager Administrator User

Judging Criteria
These are the judging criteria for this contest, which are :
1.    Any idea that can enhanced the application usability, make sure add some notes in your submission folder explaining what kind of idea that you’re offering to our client to increase good user experience.
2.    Design skill, how well you applied your design skill into your submission and showing some professional design result and looks comfortable for human eyes (especially for application user). This judging criteria including the sharp and cleanliness of your submission, your color combination choices, your font size and type choices, and how well your submission can make application user comfortable using the application .  
3.    Submission Structure, You must arrange your submission layer in ordered list, we need it to be arranged according their place and their functionality, for example header should be included in header folder, footer, content, sidebar, title, logo, etc. It is required so our user can easily found some elements from your submission and replace it if we have any additional change in the future.
4.    Completeness of the storyboard, you are required to complete the storyboard, it means any information from the wireframes should be included or modified (if you have an idea) to your storyboard. You must send all screen that required as stated in Studio tournament format, if your submission not complete, we will reduce your score.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
All Requested Contest Submission Requirements stated above. Files should be saved as JPG/PNG format.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and saved as layered PSD or AI file.

Final Fix :
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
