Challenge Overview
Generic Adapter application is a J2EE application that is currently housed on a UNIX Solaris server using WebSphere 5.1 app server. It is old technical stack, and it costs a lot to maintain. We'd like to migrate it to JBoss 5.0 and JDK 5.0.
The whole application can be split into three parts: web module, ejb module and a batch component running using PERL shell scripts.
In the previous contest, we have successfully migrate the ejb module and web module into JBoss 5.0, and verify it is working properly.
For this contest, we are going to migrate the batch and scripts to properly working with the application deployed in JBoss 5.0.
