Challenge Summary

We are launching a new voicemail system called Unified Messaging which is run on exchange 2010.  The objective of this contest is to prepare 1 or 2 PowerPointslides to show how the UM rules can help streamline getting the contact to the right parties with various call scenarios.  This will also illustrate how the user defines and sets up rules for the external and internal callers.

Round 1

For round 1, submit a comic strip for each of the 4 stories in the attached Stories word document.

Round 2

For round 1, submit a comic strip for each of the 4 stories in the attached Stories word document updated with feedback from Soteria.

Contest Details

We have attached a word document which contains 4 stories. We would like each story to be somewhat of a comic strip with neat diagrams that can tell a story.  These cases are for when A user (which means a staff member) can set rules on their outlook exchange. So when injured workers call in they will be able to have different options to contact the appropriate person. These scenarios will be in a single power point slide (maximum 2 slides if need be).

User Scenario

Customers who call into the new voice mail system are presented with more options to contact with the right parties

eg. Harry (injured worker): “I wonder what is going on with my claim? I better call my case manager for an update. (Calling CM) Looks like I am going to get her VM, I will leave her a message and wait for a call back.”

Cindy (Case Manager): “(thinking to herself) I just stepped out for lunch and it looks like my message indicator is on, But I can’t check it right now because I am running late for an urgent meeting” I’ll just quickly open my outlook and see if I can preview the messages. Oh, wow! Looks like I have missed 12 calls & 9 voicemails.  I will quickly activate the rules I had created for forwarding all my calls to the TA’s. This way the injured worker has a live person to talk to in case it is an urgent issue that needs to address. In the mean while I will scan  the voice messages via outlook/SMS on my cell phone before the meeting, thanks to the speech to text feature.   Ever since I had gotten UM I have never missed any important VM, calls or meetings.

All thanks to this to wonderful preview option and I am always up to date with everything with just one click.
