Challenge Summary

Welcome to “Mobile Device Loop Commissioning Tool Wireframes” contest.  Client of this project  is in the fire safety business. Their expertise are installing  fire/smoke detectors and/or peripheral devices like pull /call actions units for new buildings.  The installation of those devices is performed by technicians and currently most of the steps in the installation process in building are performed manually. This current process of manual installation is slow and error prone. The project purpose is to make an improvement to the manual installation and proposed automatic process by creating new application as part of Proof Of Concept (POC). In this contest, we need your help to define workflow for the proposed application. Please see conceptualization documents for more details.

At the end of this contest, we are looking an HTML wireframes  which showing a new workflow for the mobile application and can be use as suggestion for the next development phase.

This application will be created as part of Proof Of Concept (POC) to proposed an automatic process and replace the current manual process in our client company. This application will be built as Android application. Here are the requirements that needs to be creates in this contest :

You SHOULD reuse any parts, behavior, functionality or whatever portions of the 'Device Diagnostics Tool' wireframes which belong to our previous project that are applicable to this contest.
Size : Your wireframes should following android devices screen ratio.
Orientation : Vertical orientation only.

Target Audience
Technician, The main user for mobile application. The user is responsible for carrying the mobile device around during installation and scanning devices for serial number update.

Judging Criteria
Your submission will be judged using following criteria :
1.    Completeness and accuracy of the wireframe as defined in the contest details
2.    How well you implement the required data and provides suggestion, interactions and the user flow.
3.    User Experience
4.    How well your wireframes provide a consistent user flow
5.    How well you implement the required data and any suggestions, interactions and user flow you recommend (provide any notes or comments for the client)

Submission and Source Files
Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file and place a screenshot from your submission within it.

Submission File
All requested contest requirements/screens as clickable HTML files unless otherwise stated in the contest details.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in HTML, Axure (.rp).

Finalfix
As part of the Final Fix phase, you may be asked to remove, update, or change some features of the wireframe.

You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
