Challenge Summary

Welcome to CSFV Domain Names Generation Idea Contest. This is quite simple; we need to elaborate a big list of possible domain names for a social gaming website based on two possible themes. Just put creativity combining the possible names and you’re done!

IMPORTANT! We literally need a BUNCH of names here; we’ll be purchasing extra submissions if necessary!

The primary goal of this contest is to come up with unique-original site names that match available domain names, to determine possible combinations and make sure they are available for purchase. We are providing two idea documents we got from previous contests. These documents contain detailed information about the site themes, which are basically about a community of good peeps fighting/thinking/playing to beat bad guys (hackers) in order to protect the internet through software verification.

Contest Requirements
- Generate UNIQUE and ORIGINAL sticky/
quirky web 2.0 names for the site which domain name is available. The names HAVE TO BE related to the main philosophy of the attached themes and social gaming. These names should be clever, creative, web 2.0. Samples: Zynga, Ouya, bit.ly, screenr.
- You CAN NOT USE any of the names provided in the documents.
- You CAN NOT USE the words “good”, “verify”, “social”, “game”, “gaming”. We want original names, creative suggestions.
- You CAN NOT USE any of the names you used in previous contests (if you have participated in any of them previously).
- Please understand the context. “Good” here does not mean kindness, charity, etc. It means the people are on the side of good, and we are fighting evil. The evil here is malicious code, and hackers. As an internet user, please put yourself in the situation where you are on your computer, but you get attacked by a virus, or a hacker steals your data, or the internet goes down because of an attack. You will not be happy when that happens, and so you want to take steps to ensure that they cannot do that anymore to people. This site represents your fight against those malicious people and programs.
- “Verify “does not mean just “check” or “make sure”, rather it should be looked at from the Software Verification context. So it should be from the angle of “Analysis” if anything else (please do not just look up the straight up synonyms for “analysis”). Here is more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_verification
- You need to verify the AVAILABILITY of the domains. Ideally they should exist as .com and .net. However, we also want to see clever domain extensions for the names using third level domain extensions, country extensions, etc, like bit.ly, helpmelearn.it, pleasehelp.us. Learn about the available extensions you can use.
- Deliver at least 10 names using .com and/or .net domains. Deliver at least 10 names using “clever” domain extensions (bit.ly, help.us, anast.asia, etc). You have to deliver 20 names with available domains (or more) total in your submission.

Target Audience
Casual gamers, everyone who likes games from children to adult persons.

Judging Criteria
You will be judged on your creativity of the idea and how well you addressed the outlined requirements.

Submission File
Your idea document can be presented in any way you want as long as the idea proposition is clear. You may submit a zip file containing PDF, plain text, Word, OpenOffice, or HTML files. Choose whichever format you find most convenient. We don’t take care too much about the submission files as long as they are “readable” and you cover all the requirements.

Source Files
Identical to your submission file.

Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode and place a screenshot from your submission within it.
