Challenge Overview
SOD is the “Siebel On Demand” workflow. The project is migrating off of WebSphere Process Server (WPR) v6.0.2 to WAS v7.0. The SOD workflow basically moves an “opportunity” XML through a series of data retrievals, business rules, and credit requests. Once complete a PDF is generated based on the data in the XML.
The SOD workflow uses a set of common BPEL workflow steps. This specification provides the requirements for the Java components involved in the common workflow steps.
The workflow steps have to use a straight J2EE approach for implementation.
