Challenge Overview
Sharous is planned to become a mobile social application for IOS devices, which allows users to share their location on their smartphone or tablet and interact with other users of Sharous on a world map in real-time.
Basically it should be possible for the user to view the location of both his contacts and all other users of Sharous on the world map and communicate with them.
We have an initial thought and design for what this iPad/iPhone application should be. But we are expecting to consolidate the desired functionality and come up good ideas for this mobile social application. This conceptualization will explore the general business requirements, so we can use it for the current scope (iPad/iPhone), and further platform expansion (Android, Windows Phone etc).
But it should still stick to the following main principles.
- Being open and transparent to everyone:
- All users are visible within the map
- Map mas be used without prior login
- Straight and functional design:
- Intuitive UI with native elements
- Reduced, basic functions with a great emphasis on real-time location
