Welcome to the NNS (NoNameSite.com) Homepage Infographic and Layout Update Storyboard Contes. NNS is the product of DARPA CS-STEM project, an internet platform for helping middle school and high school students (13-18 year old demographic) develop an interest in the S.T.E.M. fields. The platform features contests, activities, prizes and web-based entertainment shows designed to get students engaged.

Primary Goal & Design Considerations

The goal of this contest is to update the main content layout of NNS home page as well as create an infographic section with the features outlined below.

Focus only on the content of the storyboard, the header, footer, navigations, should be leave as it is. Please visit NoNameSite.com for the latest and update content layout.

Please note that the target audience are 13-18 year old demographic and make your infographic non-violent, easy to read, and understand. You can use all the provided assets like the SoCo kid or you can create ones specially on the zeepl avatars. You can create a unique zeepl avatar from the provided avatars, make them ethnically friendly that everyone can relate to, in other words, the avatars should not just white/blonde people.

Requirements

  1. Main Content
    - remove the video widget, nonamesite rep logo, and the zeepl logo
    - remove the Games Carousel
    - create an Infographic to be placed on this section that tells the users that the site is about "play games", "win prizes", "learn to code", "design zeepl", and "compete against friends".

  2. Sidebar
    - You can place this section either on the Left side, Right side, or at the bottom of the page. - the content of this section should be as follow:

    • Event Calendar link or a graphic representation
    • Zeepl Logo
    • Active Contest widget
    • Did You Know widget
    • Past Contest widget
    • Blog Post feed widget
    • Forum Post feed widget

Branding Guidelines
- should complement NoNameSite.com
- should be cool and fun
- go light on the content and make it more graphical

Target Audience
- middle school and high school students (13-18 year old demographic)

Judging Criteria
- You will be judged on how you convey the game to easily and quickly learn how to play
- Cleanliness, Creativity, and Graphics Appeals

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Please upload PNG/JPEG images in a zip file with all requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and saved as layered PSD/AI files.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
