Challenge Overview
Distributes Software's Enterprise Service Bus application is a middleware application that supports routing, mediation and transformation of services and data across several applications and systems.
The technology component of DSW ESB (Distributed Software Enterprise Service Bus) is primarily based on WebSphere Message Broker version 6.1.0.3 software that runs on AIX 5.3. As there are several critical interfaces that leverage secured communication in the form of SSL encryption. As part of the SSL encryption, there is a need to generate, maintain and renew public certificates in a timely manner to avoid disruption in interfaces. In order to make the certificate management process efficient, we are looking for a tool that alerts the administrator in identifying certificates nearing expiry.
The purpose of this contest is to develop a Certificate Monitoring Tool that helps DSW ESB team in managing the certificates expiry and renewal process in a simpler and efficient manner.
