Challenge Overview
SOD is the “Siebel On Demand” workflow. The project is migrating off of WebSphere Process Server (WPR) v6.0.2 to WAS v7.0. As a result, the SOD flow will be updated to use a straight Java EE approach for implementation. The SOD flow basically moves an “opportunity” XML through a series of data retrievals, business rules, and credit requests. Once complete a PDF is generated based on the data in the XML.
This specification provides the requirements for the Java components involved in the Task Type Determinator used throughout the SOD workflow. This specification extends the design of Task Type Determinator used by the three main SOD flows: SOD Front, SOD Middle, and SOD End. This Task Type Determinator is a common component that will additionally be used by the following common SOD flows:

- Excluded Customer Check Flow
- Included Customer Check Flow
- FMW Check Flow
- Invoke PDF Flow
- Legal Name Check Flow
- Sales Representative Check Flow
