Contest Details
Hestia always looking to give their customers a better user experience by updating and enhancing the User Experience (UX) of their existing websites and web applications. This contest is now focused on updating the Hestia FOL ALL NEW Homepage by following the provided client mashup.
We are also open to other variations of this design (as long as it includes these content items)

Note: The overall goal of this "ALL NEW" homepage is for user testing. We will show them the existing application and then the new designs and see if anything is of interest to the users. This is why we are open to new designs.

Design Considerations:
Mashup Reference: mashup.png

Note
- On this contest, you can re-use and grab UI Elements from the provided 1st-Place.7z and 2nd-Place.7z
- DO NOT just crop the design from provided mashup.png. You will need to update recreate the page/design so its clean and using professional graphics
- You might need to search istockphoto's for Product Categories images or from the main Hestia site
- We are also looking for graphic design variations on the mashup. (submit multiple solutions!)

1. Top navigation and Main bar
- The mashup is incorrect in that it places some links in both places
- Where should the links go (what belongs in the Top Area and what belongs in the Navigation?
- Do not repeat links in both areas

2. Product Navigation
- Note the mashup placement
- Make sure this looks good within the page
- Current mashup showing 10 products, but we need add these following 12 products. How would this look?
-- Faucets
-- Sinks
-- HVAC
-- Pipe & Tubing
-- Plastic Pipe & Tubing
-- Pipe Fittings
-- Tools
-- Valves
-- Waterworks
-- Toilets & Urinals
-- Bathing Products
-- Water Heaters
(see the product-categories.ong attachment for the current items - you can find similiar images)

3. "Tools" area
- We're looking for a design solution that displays "Start Quick Order", "Find an Order", "Your Delivery" and "Quote/Order Status" within the area of the mashup
- Note: "Your Delivery" and "Quote/Order Status" could be combined into a new message center box? Since they are telling the user what is going on with their orders
- Your design should integrate these items more into the page (the mashup is using incorrect graphics, placement, layout)

4. Specialty Catalogs
- Make sure both items are not stretched.

5. Business Solution
- Add in this section so it looks correct graphically
- Make sure this section size is proportional

6. Cart Icon
- Use the cart blue icon from 2nd Place design or do you have other design ideas?
- The Cart icon needs to "work" with the other icons - needs to be "professional"

IMPORTANT
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance

Target User
- FOL customers!!

Judging Criteria

- How well you create the updated ALL NEW Homepage
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
