Challenge Summary

Welcome to CSFV Site Gaming Features Wireframes contest. We need you to create HTML wireframes for a community website focused on gaming. We want you to create the Content Management System (CMS) wireframes for this site.


The primary goal of this contest is to create HTML wireframes for the CMS website of the CSFV community website.

Please note, first read the contest details below carefully, understand what features you need to take from the Pages Assembly Specification document (APS).

General Requirements 
- Produce HTML click through wireframes that can be used to demonstrate all mentioned functionalities as required in each round.
- The website must be very easy to use and intuitive. Keep that in mind when designing your solution.
- You MUST cover all use cases mentioned in contest details below.
- You MUST use wireframes note pane in every single page you design to explain what APS items are addressed in that page, what things you added/changed/removed, use it to make your idea clearer and help the client to give you constructive feedback.

Wireframe Requirements
The following items should be covered in this contest:

    1. Login Page - contains username/password, forgot password ? link, and logo placeholder of CSFV logo
    2. Posts Page
      This page display the cms posts, it contains the following :
      • "Add Post" link so user can add new Post
      • Table of posts contains the following :
        • Title
        • Category
        • Author
        • Status
        • Update Date
        • Checkbox so user can select multiple rows at t time
      • "Delete" option to delete selected posts
      • Filter panel that allow user to filter posts using following options :
        • Status - Published, Draft, Trash
        • By Title
        • By Author
        • By Category
      • The table should support pagination and display per page option
    3. Add/Edit Post Page
      This page allows user to add/edit post, it contains the following :
      • Title input text field
      • Body cotnent text area field - http://ckeditor.com/ will be used
      • Categories panel - user can associate post with one or more categories
      • "Allow Comments" flag checkbox - to enable/disable comment on post
      • "Is Public" flag checkbx  - whether the blog is public or private
      • Attachements form - user should be able to upload one or more attachements
      • Preview/Save/Draft/Publish/Cancel buttons
    4. Users Management Page
      This page is used to manage users, it will contain the following :
      • Table of users :
        • Username
        • Role
        • Edit/Delete/View buttons
      • "Add User" button that allow user to add new user
      • it should support pagination and display per page
    5. Add User/Edit User Page
      This page to add/edit CMS user, this page contains 
      • auto complete "username" text input field 
      • "role"  checkboxes that list the CMS roles supported.
      • Save/Cancel options to complete or cancel the flow
    6. Roles Management
      This page is used to manage CMS roles, it contains :
      • "Add Role" button
      • Table list all roles with permissions associated with it :
        • Role Name
        • Role Description
        • Permissions - comma separated string
        • Checkboxes to allow user remove roles
        • Edit option to allow viewing/editing the role
      • The page should support pagination and view per page option 
    7. Add Role/Edit Role Page
       This page is used to add or edit roles. It contains :
      • role "Name" input field
      • role "description" text area field
      • Permissions checkboxes list field - user can select one or more permissions
      • Save/Cancel buttons
    8. Categories Page
      This page is used to manage post categories :
      • Contains table of categories :
        • Category name
        • Category description
        • Status (Active/Deleted)
        • Checkbox to allow user select multiple categories and delete
        • Edit option to edit category
      • Page should support pagination
      • "Add Category" to add new category
    9. Add Category/Edit Category Page
      This page is used to add/edit category, it contains :
      • Name input field
      • Description input field
      • Save/Cancel buttons
    10. Navigation
      Navigation must be very solid and reflect a smooth flow between pages, also use breadcrumb as needed 
    11. Header and Footer
      No Footer is required here, for header you need to show logo placeholder and "welcome {username} | logout" message, username should be dead link for now. 

Target Audience

Casual gamers, everyone who likes games from children to adult persons.

Judging Criteria
- User experience.
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframes as defined in the attached requirements.

Submission File
All requested contest requirements/screens as clickable HTML files unless otherwise stated in the contest details.

Source Files
Wireframes should be built in Axure. The resulting files should have generated HTML files. Also, all the content must be listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow.

Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode and place a screenshot from your submission within it.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

Screening:

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
