Challenge Summary

This contest is quite simple and quick; we need to update existing HTML wireframes for a game site. Welcome! Join fast.

Round 1

For your R1 deliverables please submit all the required updates for client review.

Round 2

Final wireframes will contain all of the functionalities plus any updates from client feedback.

The primary goal of this contest is to update the HTML wireframes for the CSFV Game Mini site which is part of a gaming community website, an exciting portal that integrates social/profiles information with browser-based games.

This mini site is split by two scenarios; the first one when the user is visiting (not logged in), the site delivers information about the game such as how to play, infographic, etc. The another one is when the user is returning (logged in), the site offers connecting information, social features, leaderboards, game status and so on.

We’re attaching the current Game Mini Site Wireframes which is the base for your work.

General Requirements
- Produce HTML click through wireframes that can be used to demonstrate all mentioned functionalities as required in each round.
- The website must be very easy to use and intuitive. Keep that in mind when designing your solution.
- You MUST cover all use cases mentioned in contest details below.

Wireframe Requirements
- Remove Leaderboards pages and any other appearance in the wireframes.
- Remove competition pages and any other appearance in the wireframes.
- Remove blog pages and any other appearance in the wireframes.
- Add download call to action buttons for standalone client (for PC or Mac) when the player is not logged in.
- Add link to start the game and auto-jump to a level from within the browser when the user is logged in.
- Add ability to browse levels and see those for which there's a 'bounty'. Some levels from the game might go for a long time without a solution, and we will want, say, the top 10 of those listed in a side panel (with the option to expand to a larger page with, say, the top 100 "Most Wanted" levels - or even the ability to scroll indefinitely down). Each level would have a small icon, a name, and a bounty that would be awarded for the player(s) who eventually solve it. Integrate this list with the link stated above (the ability to launch the game and auto-jump to a level).
- Represent past play sessions results on returning user page. This game relies on the player making certain moves, and the success of the moves cannot be determined in real time. Think of it like a turn-based game, where the player comes to play, submits their moves, and the next time they return to the site, it should clearly and prominently feature the result of their previous play session. It should function similar to a chess site that shows all the games I'm currently playing, and which ones are awaiting my move vs. those that are still waiting for the "other player" (in this case, the computer).
- Show story updates, game results, and messages when logged in. We would prefer if the site encourages frequent, brief visits, rather than occasional extended stays. We want the player quickly seeing where there is 'work' to be done. We are trying to build a site that the players will want to visit often, so they need to quickly be able to see what is new since their last visit, mark items read or unread, etc.

Target Audience
Casual gamers, everyone who likes games from children to adult persons.

Judging Criteria
- User experience.
- Completeness and accuracy of the wireframes as defined in the attached requirements.
