Challenge Overview

In this contest, you are asked to identify defects in new MITA v3.0 compliance checklists. The checklists, which are provided as multiple Excel worksheets, identify compliance criteria for the MITA v3.0 Technical Architecture (TA), Business Architecture (BA), and Information Architecture (IA). The checklist criteria derive from the respective MITA TA, BA, and IA capability matrices, plus from the Seven Conditions and Standards. Some additional checklist criteria are included (identified by asterisks) that extend beyond current MITA v3.0 capabilities as identified in the capability matrices. Included with the checklists are also worksheets containing instructions for using the TA, BA, and IA checklists.

The provided BA checklist pertains to the small set of business areas and business processes relevant to the challenge. The provided IA checklist pertains to the small set of business areas relevant to the challenge.

For each of the TA, BA, and IA checklists and instructions, identify any defects. A defect could be a typographical error in text, or could be an incorrect reference to MITA content. Likewise, a defect could be a capability identified in a MITA capability matrix that is not addressed by a checklist criteria.

To support this effort we provide a link to the MITA v3.0 documentation.

The goal of this contest is to ensure MITA v3.0 compliance checklist accuracy and completeness.

This contest will be reviewed by client stakeholders, who will rank submissions. The highest rank submission will win first place and second ranked submission will receive second place. See Details for review criteria.
