Challenge Overview
The Global Accounts Payable Tracking System (GAPTS) is an iSeries (AS/400) application for handling payments to invoices associated to the customer leasing contracts. The application has several tightly coupled interfaces for receiving invoice data in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) format. GAPTS requires a new MQ interface to accept invoice data in XML format and convert it to EDI format for downstream processing.
