Challenge Overview
The Global Accounts Payable Tracking System (GAPTS) is an iSeries (AS/400) application for handling payments to invoices associated to the customer leasing contracts. The application has several tightly coupled interfaces for receiving invoice data from external sources and sending them to the Global Contract Management System (GCMS) for contract processing. The GCMS application would like to automate a part of their downstream processing by having the GAPTS application invoke the Auto-Create COA service via MQ after the invoice response is returned from GCMS to GAPTS.
The component pulls the COD report from a queue, processes the COD report and checks for more CODs in the queue to be processed. If there are no more CODs in the queue, then the component will end.
