Challenge Summary

Welcome to iMatchative - Psych Assessment Wireframe Contest.

iMatchative has decided to build a web-based application that will allow professional investors to complete assessment such as card sorting task. The application will allow testers, the people running assessments, to create and run assessments. For the first version of the application, there are 2 distinct types of assessment will be supported, they are Q-Sort and Card Stacking assessment. However we need your help to come up with a solution so the application could has ability to add and change assessment over time.

The application will be designed to support three main user types: Testers, Participants and Admin users. Testers are the users responsible for conducting the assessments and viewing the results. Admins will be in charge of setting up the assessments and managing them in the system. A Participant will be the user who is completing the assessment. Participants will enter basic information about themselves and then complete an available assessment. Participants will also have the ability to provide feedback about the application. In addition, the platform will also support Admin users who will be responsible for managing user accounts and registration codes. At the end of this contest we are looking for a process flow and layout design of the application for all requirements that are defined in contest description and conceptualization document.

Round 1

You need to submit a wireframe that cover all functionality for Generic, Participant and Tester User.

Round 2

You need to submit a wireframe for all functionality mentioned in contest description and fix your solution based on feedback at milestone phase.

Project Overview

iMatchative is going to build the application for professional investors to complete assessment to capture needed information. There are 2 types of assessment that are supported with the possibility to add other assessments in the future. This application need to be designed appealing visually, interactive, easy and fun to use. This application will has reporting functionality so it will be easy for Testers to view the data collected from completed assessments. Following are 2 types of assessments that will be implemented in the first release:

Q-Sort Assessment is where a number of items (cards with different words or sentences on them) have to be ranked / ordered by a Participant so that they result in a sequence.  This sequence will be one a scale, such as from high to low, or from "agree the most" to "agree the least".

Card Stacking Assessment. Participants will assign items (cards with different words or sentences on them) into a predefined number of different response groups. These groups will be visually arranged in the form of stacks that look like an approximately bell-shaped distribution curve. This will result in a final ordering sequence that has the symmetrical shape of a bell shaped distribution.

General Requirement

Following are general notes you should keep in mind while you are creating the wireframe:

- This application will be built using HTML5 technology, make sure your solution utilize it as good as possible.

- Use AJAX technology as good as possible for better user experience.

- Your solution must be useful so it can save web designer time and energy. All pages/elements must linked each others and must show correct flow.

- Your solution must be easy to use and intuitive.

- Your solution must implements all functionalities that are explained in attached Conceptualization Document. You should use it as a guide, but if there is a better way to display any information, feel free to reflected it in your solution.

- You must use wireframe note pane in every single page you design, to explain what all items are addressed in that page, use it to make your idea clearer and help us to give you constructive feedback.

- We suggest you to follow high level requirements details with use case diagram, it is defined in Conceptualization Document.

Wireframe Requirement

Following are general information and functionalities that must be implemented in your solution. For more details please refer to section 4 in Conceptualization Documents, you must implements all functionalities from section 4.4.1 to 4.4.25.

- Generic User Functionality. This user can perform Login, Logout and Register Account functionality, these are available for all users that use this application.

- Participant User Functionality. Participants can view available assessments in the list, enter basic participant data, complete assessments and view its summary and also give the feedback for the application.

- Tester User Functionality. The tester can view the assessment result of each participant, compare and export the result and also view the feedback from participant.

- Admin User Functionality. An administrator has ability to manage (create, remove, modify) the assessment as well as the user of the application.

Target Audience

Participants, is the user who complete assessment using the application.

- Testers, is the user who running the assessment.

- Administrators, is the user who managing user account and assessments.

Judging Criteria

- Completeness of your submission. All functionality defined in contest description and Conceptualization Document should be addressed in your solution.

- How well your solution provides good and intuitive user experience.

Submission Deliverables

Preview Image

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission Files

Wireframes should be built in HTML or Axure. The most important point is that all the content is listed and the pages are linked together to show page flow. Keep your source files out from this submission folder.

Source Files
