Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Hestia UX Intake Forms Redesign Contest. The goal of this contest is take the existing "Credit Application" and "Online Job Information" pages/forms and design a better user experience. At the end of this contest the Client is looking to have a set of clean, intuitive, and easy-to-use designs that incorporates all of the required form elements.

Contest Details
Hestia is always looking to improve and provide their customers with great online user experience (UX). Hestia currently has some old and outdated web forms that need to be: 
1) Redesigned
2) Improved User Experience
3) Designed to work with the new platform design.

Hestia customers will access these pages from their new multi-user platform site design. We are looking for simple and intuitive page designs.

Design Requirements
- Download the old screen design of the "Credit Application" and "Job Name Request" forms. 
- Design new versions of these pages while using the new "platform" design as your base graphics
- The current design has all sections in a single page - does this work? Is this the best user experience?
- All forms elements like input, dropdown, checkboxes, textarea, checkboxes as possible should use standard browsers style.
- Use proper typography and type hierarchy on the page
- Make sure alignment of sections title, labels and form elements are consistent.
- Include descriptions in each step (if needed/makes sense)
- (*) Asterisk character need easily recognized.
- Include a "Send" button for each form.
- Do we need clear/reset button?

Credit Application Intake Form

- This should be branded correctly
- On top right, there's dropdown to select "New Application", "City" and "State" - provide design solutions for this

Form divided into these following sections:
1) Application
- Design these sections
- Checkboxes options placed below all inputs

2) Principals/Officer
- User can "Add a Principal" and "Remove Principal"

3) Billing Information
4) About Your Company
- User can select more than one type of Business.
- Below the multi-select option, place an input if user can't find type of Business
- About Your Company show dropdown and inputs
- Type of License Held can be added and removed
- User can attach financial statement by click upload button

5) References
- User can added and remove References

6) Master Sales Agreement
- Textarea need fixed height
- User needs to check on the "I Agree" checkboxes before proceed submit.
- below checkboxes, there's some inputs need filled.

7) Personal Guaranty
- Textarea should be a fixed height 
- User need checked on the "I Agree" checkboxes before proceed submit.

8) Terms of Agreement
- Textarea should be a fixed height
- User needs to check on the "I Agree" checkboxes before proceed submit.

IMPORTANT
- Keep things consistent. This means all graphic styles should work together.
- All of the graphics should have a similar feel and general aesthetic appearance.
- Please reference the provided Platform Design PSD to help make your design consistent across the application.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
