Challenge Summary

Welcome to CSFV Mini Site Pages Skinning Contest. On this contest we’re looking forward to design one page in four (4) different theme versions for mini sites.

It’s one single round, it’s fast! Jump in now!

The primary goal of this contest is to design one single page to match the look and feel of 4 mini sites themes respectively. You are provided with the wireframe of a single page and you have to make it look part of each mini site.

There are 4 mini sites which belong to a gaming website community. Each mini site represents a game portal that shows information about the game, how to play, social features, news, forums, etc. On this contest we’re focusing only in the “Play Game” page. You’ll design that same page for the mini sites.

Branding and Guidelines
- Use Mini sites Storyboards as baseline for the page skinning. Source files of each mini site are attached.
- Use MinisiteWireframes.zip for layout reference. It contains wireframes for “Play Game” page for each mini site. Each Play Game page from wireframes has two scenarios, when the user is logged in (Play_Game_1.html) and when the user is anonymous (Play_Game.html), which are basically the same with slight variations on the widgets from the right column.
- See CSFVStoryboards.zip for graphic reference about page elements of the global site overall.
- You can modify the page height but NEVER the width.
- Colors and overall feel should match each game mini site respectively.
- Use web-safe fonts for the pages content. Declare your fonts according to the Studio font’s policies. If you don’t have any of the fonts from the provided storyboard replace them with Arial and add a note about it. You will be asked to replace the font if you become a winner.
- Show all the hover states for all the new UI elements you create or modify (tabs, buttons, hyperlinks, dropdowns, etc).

Storyboard Requirements
Overall Requirements
For ALL the mini sites apply the following:
- Keep using the provided mini site backgrounds.
- Apply proper skinning to “Play Game” page widgets, keeping same colors, fonts, textures, etc. DON’T REDESIGN widgets, re-use.
- Re-use as much elements as you can from each mini site.
- Don’t use the game progress bar.
- Show the tabs content only for: How to Play (default), Participants and Available Levels.
- Use the same Comments section from News section (CSFVStoryboards.zip, 03_News_Details.psd).
- Make sure to show chat and logged in header for the logged in scenario (make visible “LOGGED IN” layer group from the mini site psd).

1) Circuitbot Mini Site
- See “1.Circuitbot” from wireframes and storyboards respectively.
- Show anonymous and logged in scenarios for Play Game page.

2) Xilem Mini Site
- See “2.Xilem” from wireframes and storyboards respectively.
- Show anonymous and logged in scenarios for Play Game page.

3) Puzzle Mini Site
- See “3.Puzzle” from wireframes and storyboards respectively.
- Show anonymous and logged in scenarios for Play Game page.

4) Ghostmap Mini Site
- See “4.Ghostmap” from storyboards and “3.Puzzle” from wireframes.
- Show anonymous and logged in scenarios for Play Game page.

Note: there is footer with 5 games in the wireframes. Ignore that for your design.
