Challenge Summary

Welcome to TopCoder Member Stats Graphics Redesign Contest. We need your jaw-dropping skills to improve the graphics of an existing design that shows certain TopCoder statistics. You will redesign three (3) pages with the main goal of making them easy to understand, very friendly.

Round 1

For the first round deliver just two screens:
- Registration Countries
Rank and Winning Percentage by Discipline across the World

Round 2

For the final round please deliver all the requested screens plus feedback from client:
- Registration Countries
- Rank and Winning Percentage by Discipline across the World
- TopCoder Paid Countries

The primary goal of this contest is to redesign the look and feel of three (3) pages that show TopCoder statistics. The current graphics are very sharp and nice; however we need them to be friendlier, easy to understand. In other words, we want to showcase the same message but in a cleaner way, user friendly.

You are provided with the original design (CurrentStatsDesign.zip) and updated data (TopCoderData.xlsx).

Notice we need you to design these graphics in 96dpi resolution - It’s different from the provided source files!

Branding and Guidelines
- Screen size is 10 x 7.5 inches at 96dpi resolution, RGB color mode.
- All graphics must be created in vector format.
- The graphics must be clean and easy to read, very friendly.
- Fonts are open to designers. Declare your fonts according to the Studio font’s policies.
- Overall branding must match the TopCoder website look and feel.

Graphic Requirements
- Redesign each diagram: Registration Countries, Rank and Winning Percentage by Discipline across the World and TopCoder Paid Countries. They should be presented individually, one per screen (3 screens).
- You can change anything you want from the existing design. Remember you need to REDESIGN; we look forward to see something NEW.
- Each diagram should share the same look overall.
- Each diagram should have a title.
- Use the updated data from the Excel file. We’re open to suggestions regarding to the interpretation of this data. We are aware that information “digestion” is a challenge, so feel free to manipulate the amount of information at your wise will. For instance, you could reduce the amount of countries from Paid Countries diagram in order to have more free space for graphics; that’s just a sample.
- Notice this Excel file has three sheets (check the bottom of the screen when you open the file). Each sheet contains information about each diagram respectively.
