Round 2

Final design will contain the mentioned requirements under “Storyboards Design Requirements” section plus any updates from client feedback.
Feel free to add some notes (jpg or text file) to comment your design features for the client.
Number your screens (01, 02, 03 etc.) – it’s easier to review.

The primary goal of this contest is to design storyboards for a mini site held on TopCoder. This mini site is highly interactive, allowing to users to literally blow their minds with the animations and nice content display. The site name is “What Can You Create”.

You are provided with concept screens that show the essence of this site. The task is to showcase the site animations with screens and to redesign certain UI elements. We need you to re-think the user experience and behavior of the interface to add some improvement. In other words, the design task is focused more about the feeling of the site rather than the look. We are aiming to build a very enticing site that helps users to understand what TopCoder does with contests in a very interactive way. We are adding animations, sounds, effects, and all the whistles to this!

Branding and Guidelines
- Your design must fit 1024 pixels wide screen resolution.
- Current fonts are good enough but we are open to suggestions. Use web-safe fonts for page content.
- Current colors are good as they are now.
 - Think of web 2.0 when you’re creating your solution. This page should be very MODERN and HIGHLY INTERACTIVE!

Storyboards Design Requirements
- The current concept was inspired on this video, watch it. It’s about the main pillars/nodes of TopCoder platform.
- Use WhatCanYouCreateConcept.zip as base for your work. It contains the current screens design.
- See DesignNotes.zip. It contains the detailed requirements specifications about the changes over the existing concept design. The client represents the core ideas of the new behavior on these notes, so pay attention.
- Design screens to show the whole flow and interaction paths. Your submission should contain the same amount of screens than the provided design at least. The basic path is “Introduction Screen (one node)”, Main Menu Screen (3 nodes deployed)” and “Node Details (i.e. Front-end)”, where each node details scenario displays information about contests (content taken from Content.pdf) with sub-items navigation on the left side and main interactive content/popups on the center.
- The current concept represents the information from Content.pdf. You are required to show the full details (input, description, winner, selection, output, etc) for Logo, Component Design and Marathon Match contests.
- Dismiss the current icons and replace them with icons from Icons.zip file. Consider we need to mash up the feel between the established icons, and the feel the current concept has (glowing style). Optionally, you can extract icon resources from TopCoder Website GUI Kit too.
- Create as much screens as you need to show the design and animation requirements. The more the better since the client will be able to appreciate your idea.

Our main target is the high-up scale directors, decision takers on businesses and organizations. Overall, business managers who need an easy explanation about how TopCoder can help them with their problems through our development platform.

- How intuitive is your solution?
- User Experience.
