Hercules Field Tech App Flow Design Concept Contest

Welcome to the Hercules Field Tech App Flow Design Concept Contest. The goal of this contest is to create/think through to app flow of the "Field Tech" app based on the initial client's outline below. We're looking for a number of general concepts that meet the requirements below to give to the client to look at. We encourage you to suggest us how the application should be designed and at the same time improve the UX of existing design.

Contest Details
Hercules is building new application of Hercules Field Tech. This app will contain links and information for the techs and will provide a dashboard with links to various systems and applications that they will use during their daily work.

Contest task is to define the flow of the app, be able to navigate through the various areas of the app. Feel free to give any ideas/solution, but still stick with existing design theme. Read information below to help you start submit design solution for this contest.

IMPORTANT
- We provide field-tech-storyboard.zip and wifi-meter-design.zip as existing design theme. You must grab and re-use existing graphics from those files.
- All of the graphics should have a mimic existing looks and suggestion
- On this contest we're just looking how design looks on "iPhone Retina" Portrait and Landscape Layout (640px x 960px)
- As part task, the contest winner need create "iPhone Standard" Portrait and Landscape Layout (320px x 480px).

Design Problem
1. Login page
- Login page will displayed at first time user open this app.
- Link Reference how login page should created for mobile design.
- Might need create the graphics explains the "Hercules Field Tech".
- How the wording on this page should look?
- Need show these following form:
-- Username input
-- Password input
-- Register for New User Link
-- Forgot Password Link
-- Keep me login option?
-- Sign In button
-- Any other suggestions? Feel free to suggest.
- Need show how the validation errors looks.
- Create page design for "Forgot Password" and "Sign Up". What need displayed on those following pages?

2. Dashboard page update
- After user logged in it will take to "Alerts/News" page. Refer design on field-tech-storyboard folder
- FYI: Alerts and News data will be pullled from the Wordpress CMS
- Need add some way to access the "Announcements" page. We already have this icon on sidebar menu. Check "_0010_11 ~ Main Menu.png". How to make this more visible on dashboard?
- Need indicator if there's "Announcement" happen.
- Any others area need updated? Feel free suggest us to improve the UX
- After user logged in, how the log out? Where need put the logout link?
- Need add scrollbar indicator for "Portrait" orientation when navigate grid view like show on _0000_01 ~ Aggregated Feeds [Grid].png
- Images on these folders need updated: field-tech-storyboard/Retina-Portrait and Portrait

3. Announcements page
- This page accessed after click "Announcement" on menu and top of bar
- You can re-use content of Announcements sample from http://socialmedia.uptempogroup.com/
- Please use placeholder image .
- You need create list of Announcements items.
- Then, please create how details page looks?

4. Tools page
- This page will accsess from "Tools" menu of "_0010_11 ~ Main Menu.png"
- You need mimic layout design of _0011_12 ~ Tools.png.
- Each icon need explains the functionality of these links needed below.

b) Wifi meter (In the app, it will take to wifi-meter-design). Please include this Wifi Meter flow on your submission
c) DOCSIS info (web link)

5. Time/Date page
- This page will access from "Time/Date" menu of "_0010_11 ~ Main Menu.png"
- This page functionality to adjust date and time of application.
- Also, need option to set time/date automatically from website

6. File Browser page
- This page will access from "File Browser" menu of "_0010_11 ~ Main Menu.png"
- How the File Browser page created? Need all type files? Need search functions?
- Check these mobile app sample to show how File Browser should created. You can create initial design based on that app.
