Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Hercules Quantum X2 Storyboard Design Contest Part II.
We want improve our existing design for Hercules Quantum application, in this contest we need you get us the updated looks and functions of some pages by follow our provided requirements. The application design must be clean and professional, easy-to-use where a user can navigate and use the features easily. This application need developed into wide range Front-End platforms: desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

This is the Part II contest of Hercules Quantum series, there will be more design contest to get complete looks of Quantum X2 design. Stay tune!


Quantum X2 is Front End Application that let user can instantly watch TV shows and movies in HD on any TV or stream them on their computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Design Consideration:
- This application will be developed on Desktop/Mobile and Tablet devices (HTML5).
- We already get design theme on previous contest. You must make sure consistent design re-use/adjusted from that storyboard.
- Make sure all elements are designed to have a fluid layout, so it will support landscape and portrait layout.
- You need just submit "iPad" and "iPhone Standard" format on landscape and portrait layout for submission format. Another versions will be task for contest winner.
- We provide X2_Saved_MobilePhase1_005.pdf as wireframe layout from client to help design our expected Quantum X2 design format.
- For Metadata on wireframe need show actual information, refer to attached for correct information.
- For filename format, match structure from Hercules-Quantum-X2-Design-Part-I.zip

1. Required Options for Manual Recordings
- Users are offered a manual recording option when they attempt to record from certain channels (like local or public access channels) or from programs that exceed 7 hours in length.
- The user is presented with all the options available to them. There's no "more options" for a manual recording.
- The date and start time always default to the date and time from the grid cell that the user chose.
- The stop time defaults to 1 hour later than the start time.
- Error conditions must be addressed in this modal should the user attempt to set a recording beyond the limits: 15-min minimum, 7-hr maximum.
2. Confirm Scheduled Recording
- All recordings that are scheduled, regardless of whether the user was required to choose any options first, should be confirmed on screen.
- This #ModalOverlay can be dismissed by the user, but should also auto-dismiss after # seconds.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file or any source graphics you created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
