Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Hercules Quantum X2 Storyboard Design Contest Part IV
We want improve our existing design for Hercules Quantum application, in this contest we need you get us the updated looks of some pages by follow our provided requirements and completed design as result of previous contest.
The application design must be clean and professional, easy-to-use where a user can navigate and use the features easily. This application need developed into wide range Front-End platforms: desktop, tablet and mobile devices.


Quantum X2 is Front End Application that let user can instantly watch TV shows and movies in HD on any TV or stream them on their computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Design Consideration:
- This application will be developed on Desktop/Mobile and Tablet devices (HTML5).
- We already get design theme on previous contest. You must make sure consistent design re-use/adjusted from that storyboard.
- Make sure all elements are designed to have a fluid layout, so it will support landscape and portrait layout.
- You just need submit "iPad" and "iPhone" format on landscape and portrait layout for submission format. Another versions will be task for contest winner.
- We provide X2_Saved_MobilePhase1_005.pdf as wireframe layout from client to help design our expected Quantum X2 design format.

Scheduled

- Page purpose to help users confirm what's scheduled to record, manage conflicts, and investigate failed recordings.

Required screens on this contest:
1). Scheduled :: Content Organization

- "Take To Go" is an action that can be found when looking at the details for a recorded asset from both the Recent and Recordings sections. This action initiates the download flow.

Organizational Model
- All scheduled recordings are chunked by date
- The list is populated by assets that are scheduled to record and NOT rolled up under entities
- Some entities may have an important status notification indicating recording now status or a conflict
- The user must "select" the scheduled recording in order to see any further details or actions for it.

Sort Behavior
- No sorting options are offered
- Content is organized in chronological order based on date scheduled to record.

Filter Options
The user can navigate to additional aspects of their scheduled recordings
- All Scheduled (default): shows all in-progress and future, scheduled recordings regardless of whether there is a conflict or not
- Conflicts (#): shows all recordings that have failed within the last 7 days and all future recordings that will not record because of a conflict

Filter & Management Options
The user can navigate to additional aspects of their scheduled recordings
- Priority: opens a modal overlay allowing the user to move any series or auto record option up and down in priority.
- View Recording History: Drills into a view displaying all failed recordings in the last 14 days so the user can investigate why something didn't record

- To access scheduled history, users will be able to use the "View Scheduled History" as a the last list row option in the scheduled list (Create this screen)
- Scheduled History allows users to investigate why a recording did not record in the last 14 days.

- Options to resolve conflicts will also appear in the context of the modal overlay
- Only show existing recordings that can be canceled to set the new recording. Don't show options that require the user to cancel more than 1 program to free up the tuner allocation in the scheduler.

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file or any source graphics you created in Adobe Illustrator and saved as AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
