1. Project Overview

Our client is looking to add new functionality to their enterprise-wide Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) system called TRON. This new functionality to submit and track Near Miss incidents will include 3 new screens; submit form, search screen, and update screen. It will potentially be used by 10K employees/contractors.  A Near Miss is an unplanned event that did not result in injury, illness, or damage – but had the potential to do so.

2. Competition Task Overview

Our goal is to create a standardized way of reporting and tracking Near Miss incidents.  Three new screen will be created.  All screens will retrieve/store data on the SQL Server database.

1. Submission form -- this screen will be accessed via a link on the intranet.
2. Search screen -- this screen will be accessed via a menu item on the TRON menu.
3. Update screen -- this screen will be accessed via the search screen.

• Windows 2008 server running IIS 6.5
• SQL Server 2008R2 (backwards compatible to 2000) database
• ASP application written in VBscript
