Welcome to “New TopCoder Design Studio T-Shirt Contest”.  TopCoder Design Studio just launching it's brand new and cool logo. To celebrate the new logo, we want to create T-Shirt design that match with our new logo identity to be used in onsite events and for souvenir/giveaway purpose. Your job is to create an amazing t-shirt design that reflects what the new TopCoder Design Studio logo is all about.

All checkpoint and contest winners in this contest will receive this new T-Shirt for Free once it gets printed!! Be the first to create and wear the brand new TopCoder Design Studio T-Shirt.

In this contest, we need your help to create a new T-Shirt design to celebrate our brand new TopCoder Design Studio Logo that already launch several days ago. This T-Shirt will be use for souvenir/giveaway in Studio events and for Marketing purpose.

TopCoder Design Studio is the creative arms of TopCoder and run many type of design contest which are :

- Widget or Mobile Screen Design
- Front-End Flash
- Print/Presentation
- Studio Other
- Wireframes
- Idea Generation

Notes : Feel free to add/design the contest category aboves as part of your T-Shirt design.

For this contest, you are going to create the back and front of the T-Shirt with the features and requirements outlined below :

1. T-Shirt color is open to designer.  You can use any t-shirt color that best fits the new logos. Please limit your colors to 2 or 3.

2. Do not use gradients in your T-Shirt design.

3. You have all of the front and the back of the T-shirt to design - be creative with your use of this space! Please avoid the bottom edges of the shirt and the sleeves as that adds extra costs to the shirt.

4. Create some slogan or phrase that match with the new logo. We are open to any suggestion about the content of slogan/phrase, feel free to explore a slogan/phrase that match with the new logo and Studio condition.

5. Your design must have the new logo inside it, the design should be clear and you must retain the correct aspect ratio of the logo.

6. Feel free to add new graphics you create yourself to support your t-shirt design. Bring us your creativity when creating the design for this. However, please do not include any brackets or paintbrushes elements in your design.

Design Requirements :

1. T-Shirt design need Pop!! Think and design creatively, explore the possibility how the new logo and your slogan will fit in the T-Shirt. However, don't over design it!

2. Remember you are designing for print media - this means no gradients and try to stay away from designs that are too intricate, as they would be hard to reproduce on fabric.

-Creativity - The t-shirt should be visually exciting and engaging
-Quality - The quality of the graphics as well as following the provided guidelines

Preview Image:
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place your submissions within it.

Contest Deliverables:

Submission File
All requested Contest Deliverables in JPG or PNG file format in RGB color mode at 72dpi.

Source Files
All original source VECTOR files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape and saved as layered AI or EPS file with 300dpi resolution.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify colors or fonts.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and final fixes (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
