Challenge Summary

Welcome to Portunes Customer Presentation 2 Pages Design REPOST Contest. The goal of this contest is to create solid design for upcoming Portunes Customer Presentation. You just need create 2 required slide pages. At the end of this contest, we're expecting a presentation design that showing the content through visual communication to the audience using appropriate and enticing infographics.


Portunes (Brivo Labs) is an Internet of Things company leading the emerging Social Access Management market space. We are focused on connecting virtual communities and with physical spaces though social identities. Portunes (Brivo Labs) is a division of Brivo Systems LLC (www.brivo.com), a SaaS company that has been connecting 100's of thousands of remote devices to millions of users for over 10 years. Portunes (Brivo Labs) is developing an API to enable Social Access Management across secure sites (SalesForce, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and technologies, including physical locks and other hardware.

Portunes (Brivo Labs) wants to engage the community for help in making their presentations easier to understand and more clear with regards to imagery. We need the Studio Creative Minds to create/redesign slides that convey either the process or idea. Essentially, we are looking for a unified, fun and contemporary design of the content and the slides to be used in all our presentations.

IMPORTANT!
- For each slide, we would like to show the Brivo Labs logo in a consistent location (such as the header or footer).
- This contest just required PSD or AI format. No .ppt files required as submission format. We need you just focus create the great design that will give clear understanding for our presentation viewers.
- Use 'Brivo Labs' instead of just 'Brivo'.
- We're looking some variations of clean and high quality submissions to show to our client. So, submit as much as you can. This will be starting ticket to bring more project to Studio.
- The presentations design must be creative! Do not just follow layout like provided slides.
- Make sure you give best practice and proper typography in your presentation design.
- All slides need looks as 1 set of presentation theme.
- Use placeholder for Social Logo like Google Plus, Fb, Twitter and SalesForces or others logo.
- DO NOT just cropped existing icons and graphic from provided slide.  enlightened All Icons/graphics in provided slides is just draft/starting point in presentation slide. You're encouraged to come with better/creative ideas represents the icons/graphics with same meaning. Do research!

Branding Guideline
- Colors – Colors are entirely up to you.  They should compliment, match or otherwise look nice with the colors of the provided Brivo Labs logo.  We would like to use this color scheme and slide design template for future presentations.
- Fonts – up to the designer to pick as long as the font is clear and easy to read. ANY fonts used in your design must be listed in your note/declaration file.
- References – The client does not provide any design references.
- All Graphic Design needs to be easily used in a PowerPoint slides.

1. What it looks like? Slide (page 1)
Create slide design with the following requirements:
- Redesign the diagram on this slide and reorganize the elements to fit your design aesthetic and submission style.
- enlightened For all icons/graphics we need you give any ideas to create graphic represents same meaning.
- Create new images to better represent each of the following elements:

  • i. Group Image - represent a small variety of people.
  • ii. QR Code/Person Image - QRcode icon represents a user's ID, then you could show 1's and 0's on someones face instead because it conveys the same concept or a drivers license or some other symbol.
  • iii. Key/Clock Image - represents that access (the key) is granted temporarily, within certain time constraints Focused on business goals – not who gets credit, but what is being created.
  • iv. HomeAway Image - (You may use all or part of this image in your new image.) represents a web application which can we used to temporarily give other access to your home while you are away.
  • v. Brivo Labs Image - (You must use the Brivo Labs logo in your new image.) represents the Brivo Labs APIs which will provide Social Access Management (SAM) functionality.
  • vi. Door/Icons Image - Represents doorways (connectivity) to social applications like Salesforce, Facebook and Twitter.
  • vii. Credentials and Readers - Represents a variety of credential types.
  • viii. Locks - Represents a variety of physical locks which can be accessed remotely with software.

- You should redesign the arrows and numbers but make sure they are connected in the same way as the original slide (event if they have a different layout).

2. Social Access Management With Brivo Slide (page 2)
Create slide design with the following requirements:
- In this slide, the diagram currently takes up most of the slide. Redesign and resize this diagram to a style and size appropriate for your design (you could reuse the existing diagram only if it matches your style).
- Create new 4 icons or images to represent the points:

  • i. Mass focus – social access applies to nearly everyone with diverse backgrounds and social purposes.
  • ii. Major B2B Partners – there are large corporations and businesses who are ready to partner with Brivo Labs and each other to use these new technologies
  • iii. Exploit Social Media – social access management with brivo will take advantage of the features and functionality of social applications
  • iv. Whever people go, SAM goes with them – social applications are portable, ubiquitous and always available. Therefore social access management with Brivo is also portable, ubiquitous and always available

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image

Please create your preview image as one (1) 800x800 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it. You are free to resize or crop your submission to fit this size, but do not add any filters or elements for dramatic effect, such as drop shadows or reflections.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG image files based on contest submission requirements stated above.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Stock Photography

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
