REPOST - Lenovo Engagement Platform System Architecture

Project Overview

Welcome to the Lenovo Engagement Platform Portal Architecture Contest. The purpose of this contest is to help Lenovo build an intriguing “Lenovo Engagement Platform" for creative thinkers, technology enthusiasts and collaborative creators to participate in different technology contests. This allows Lenovo to build and foster our own community of like minded individuals of DO-ers. The platform is meant for a global audience with multiple languages but 1 single site. 

At the end of this contest we are looking for a recommendation on the architecture for the platform to support the intended features that we like to include on the community site. Please include your thoughts or notes when considering scalability of the platform and also the ability to support social features.

Deliverables Required

The portal will be developed using Expression Engine(EE) CMS. Using the provided documents architects should provide the following deliverables.

• Documentation to create the website using EE Core 2.6.1. Make sure to cover all pages in the wireframe.

Step-by-step instructions should be provided for creating channels, templates etc.

• Requirement Specification - Excel sheet listing the features required for the platform. Features are prioritized with the most important at P1. (**Note that not all features will be built in the early stages of the platform. )
