Challenge Overview
We are looking for a solution that will provide a mechanism to display patch/software updates from the likes of Oracle, Redhat, Cisco etc (when they become available) to a user/admin and highlight critical updates that need immediate action. Internally we have several different platforms, with different technology stacks and in different places in the heirarchy - e.g. firmware for routers, patches for databases, web servers etc. Each technology causes a pain point when there is a new release or a criticial patch announcement etc.
