Challenge Summary
Welcome to “Astrazeneca – Find and Connect Responsive Storyboard Design contest”. Our client will create a new platform-agnostic application which will allow user to find colleagues with particular skill sets. In this contest, we need your help to design responsive storyboard based on the wireframes provided in this contest.
At the end of this contest, we are looking for a creative, stunning, fresh and user friendly screen design for the application that can be use on the next development phase.

Brief Application Introduction
The aim of this project is to create a platform-agnostic application which will allow users to find colleagues with particular skill sets. Every member of the company's R&D sector will have a profile automatically created for them, but individuals will be able to make modifications to their own profiles and curate their list of skills, based on which they will be discoverable via a simple search. The backend of the system is already built and functionality is exposed via an API, and now our focus is put for front-end design/development. We are looking for a fresh, yet professional overall application design.
The immediate purpose of this “Find Experts” app is to provide a means of quickly finding out about colleagues with a particular skillset. For each employee, a list of relevant skills and concepts will be created automatically based on text mining and various algorithms performed at the underlying data level which holds hundreds of millions of scientific documents. Furthermore, employees will be able to access and curate their own profiles, so as to make the knowledge base as accurate as possible. Please read more details requirements below.
Design Requirements

- There are 5 screens that needs to be created in 3 different devices, they are :
1. Landing Page
a. This page will be shown when user open the application.
b. User can doing simple and advance search in this screen. For advance search screen, you can expand the search form and adding several new textbox with dummy labels.
c. The search result will be shown below the search from and it will only show name and picture of a person.
d. If one of the search result being selected, the profile picture will expand and show details as presented on “Nasko Radev” picture.
e. Limited the search result, user can see more search result by scrolling their browser.
f. We need this page to be responsive.
2. Profile Page – Visitor
a. User will be directed to this page if they click “view profile” button after select one of the search result in landing page.
b. In this page, user can saw profiles of the person they looking for, their achievements, skills, etc.
c. There are several items/data we provides in this screen, however, each profiles will be different and they might have more/less items needs to be shown, show us your creativity to handle this issue.
d. We need this page to be responsive.
3. Profile Page – Owner
a. User will be directed to this page after they click “profile” link in top right of the screen in landing page.
b. In this page, the application user can add/edit/delete their profile references.
c. This page should have some notification popup/box/layout design to notify the user about their profiles completeness.
d. We might need some save button in this page.
e. We need this page to be responsive.
4. Self - Curate Profile
a. This page will be open once our user click save button on profile page – owner.
b. This page purpose is to let the user choose if the connections and publications the system added automatically for the user is correct.
c. We might need some confirm button added to this page.
d. We need this page to be responsive.
5. Profile Page – Owner Continued
a. This page is an additional features on the system and it cannot be unlock before user completing his/her profiles and curates their profiles.
b. Create placeholder section for the network graph.
c. Create this page in unlock and lock stated.
d. We need this page to be responsive.
- Create your screens for 3 different devices (mobile, tablet and PC) with the following size :
1. Mobile size is 320px
2. Tablet size is 768px
3. PC size is 1024px
- We need you to create simple logo that match with the application purpose. The logo should be able to reflect the application purpose.
Note : You don’t need to follow the layout provides in the wireframes, it was only as references to you about what key elements our clients want to be appear in the storyboard. We are encourages you to improves the user experiences, show us your creativity!!
Branding Guidelines
a. Color :
* The primary colors our client use are: #4B306A (purple), #830051 (mulberry), and #F0AB00 (gold).
* And we also use #7AB800 (green), #00ADD0 (blue), #C7C2BA (warm grey).
* Various tints are also allowed so as to increase versatility.
b. Fonts are open to designer, please be careful of your font deliverables, use web safe font as much as possible and see our font policy in this link.
c. We don't have any site references for the applications layout because we want you to comes up with an original, stunning, catchy and creative design created by your self.
Target Audience
We are building internal application for our colleagues from a range of backgrounds spanning from Chemistry and Biology to IT. The majority of our users will be aged between 30 and 45.
Judging Criteria
These are the judging criteria for this contest, which are :
- Creativity of your storyboard design that hinting towards the applications purpose.
- Storyboard completeness including the simple logo requires above.
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design.

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.
Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on other winning placements.
