Challenge Summary

Welcome to the 2013 TopCoder Track Presentation Storyboard Contest! The goal of this contest is to design the storyboard of a presentation that will describe the six (6) tracks of TCO to our audience. This presentation that will also be used in other places than just on-site. It will be a guide to the TCO!

For this contest, we are looking for awesome storyboard design that will utilize the HTML5/CSS3 animation technology when converted into an HTML prototype.

Round 1

1) Your initial design solution for a review
2) Any note for the client about your submission
3) Number your submission (01, 02, 03, etc...) for easy client's review

Round 2

1) Final storyboard design with all the requirements mentioned below plus any checkpoint updates
2) Any note for the client about your submission
3) Number your submission (01, 02, 03, etc...) for easy client's review

Primary Goal
During the TCO13 events, people from all over the world will meet at Capital Hilton in Washington DC, USA to compete and watch the competitions of this tournament. Others will be watching from home - watching video, reading the blogs and forum posts, and watching the results closely.

We want to create one presentation that includes information from all the tracks, as well as member quotes, lots of quality pictures, videos and anything else that will help explain the TCO and capture the excitement!

Design Considerations:
This presentation should be branded with the TCO13 colors and imagery. The branding should be relatively easy to swap out in subsequent years, so please keep that in mind when designing.

We have attached the TCO13 storyboards and use those as inspiration. You may use any photos from any past TCO events and you can find them on each tournament website. Below are the photos of the past events. Please note that the photos in your design should be easily changed or updated without any storyboard update as we plan to use current events photo as they happen.

Presentation Inspirations:
We are looking for some interactivity combined with cool animation. We will be utilizing HTML5 and CSS3 in creating the HTML presentation, for this here are some cool HTML5 inspiration that we think are awesome. THESE SERVES AS AN INPIRATIONS ONLY AND PLEASE DO NOT COPY EXACTLY THEIR GRAPHICS AND ANIMATIONS.

Code Considerations:
This presentation will be used on-site, online, on tablets, etc. It will be developed using HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery, or equivalent for transitions and animations. Although you are designing the look of the presentation only, it's important to keep this in mind when designing. Any transitions should be described in a notes document (as well as including sample links, if helpful).

- Track's main menu (see the provided HTML prototype for the text copy and content of this screen)
- Introduction to TCO13

You can check the provided HTML prototype of TCO12 Track Presentation for the text copy or content of these screens/sections.
