Welcome to the PowerScope Logo Design Contest. The goal of this competition is to create a new professional and memorable logo for our new client's Powerscope application.

Contest Details
PowerScope Background
- Our client is building a product ordering application called PowerScope specializing in the Waterworks Industry (sewer systems, fire hydrants, etc).
- What kind of the product would be ordered? The water industry provides drinking water and wastewater services (including sewage treatment) to residential, commercial, and industrial sectors of the economy.
- Who would order them?Current Water Industry Customer.

Logo Requirements
- Use logo-template.zip as base of your logo submission. We need colored logo above black background and white background also the greyscale version.
- We are looking for something professional, creative, fresh and explains "PowerScope" clearly!
- The logo must display "PowerScope" text.
- No need tagline.
- Feel free add graphic represent Powerscope.
- The logo should grasp the message of the logo design within 3 seconds of the first glimpse. Anyone who sees your logo for the first time should retain that image in their memory.
- Please stay away from gradients, as they will not be able to be easily reproduced across all media.
- Use these client expected colors (#231F20 and #FFC324) and also the compliment colors. State colors information clearly in your submission.
- Fonts are open to designer. Include the name of the font and a link to where it can be downloaded/purchased. DO NOT include any font files in your submission or source files.
- Designs must be created as VECTOR artwork so they can be resized without a loss of quality. Make sure your logo quality is not diminished when scaled up or down.

Judging Criteria
- Relevance: How does your logo "fit" with the PowerScope application?
- Quality: Does your logo look fresh, professional and clean? Is the composition/layout well done? Have you used typography in a meaningful way?
- Concept: Does your logo present a new and interesting concept? Is it professional, yet memorable?

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image

Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG image files based on contest submission requirements stated above.

Source Files
All original VECTOR source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape and saved as layered AI or EPS files. Your source files must meet these requirements:
1) The AI/EPS logo file with text intact (not outlined).
2) The AI/EPS logo file with text in outlined format.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.
