Challenge Summary

The Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership aims to connect insurance companies in order to combat fraud. We are building a web application that will let the companies exchange data through a network. Each network partner is an insurance company or part of an insurance company. In this contest, we are seeking wireframes for one or two pages that will let a system administrator add and edit partner information.

Round 1

Wireframe all functionality described below.

Round 2

Revise and refine your wireframes in response to checkpoint feedback.

Overview

The attached image partner.selection.png shows a storyboard for selecting partners to engage in a study. This image is provided as background information. You will be wireframing something different.

One of the primary areas you are responsible for in this contest is adding partners to the network.

Each partner has the following attributes:

  • company name
  • city
  • state
  • geographic division
  • geographic region
  • number of insured
  • tags
  • contacts

The storyboards show a small selection of static tags. In this contest, we are seeking wireframes that will let a system administrator make new tags, delete old tags, and edit the tags that are attached to any partner.

The other important concept is the list of contacts. We do not have a storyboard for this. A contact is a person at the insurance company. Each contact has the following attributes.

  • full name (first name, last name)
  • job title
  • company name
  • office location (street, city, state, zip code)
  • email address
  • phone number(s) -- at least one, possibly several
  • notes

Requirements

We are seeking wireframes for one web page that implements the required functionality. If you find that the page is getting too cluttered, you may add pop-ups or separate the page into tabs. It's fine if you can fit everything into a single page without tabs or pop-ups.

The following functions are required.

  • browse partners
  • add a partner
  • edit a partner
  • delete a partner
  • browse tags
  • make a new tag
  • delete an existing tag

The attributes of a partner are listed above.

A tag is a unique text label that can be applied to any number of partners. Adding and removing tags from each partner is required functionality.

Note that each partner has a list of contacts. Each contact is a person with the set of information listed above. Therefore, managing the contact list for a partner is a substantial requirement. The following functions are required.

  • browse a partner's contact list
  • add a contact
  • edit a contact
  • delete a contact

When the user is browsing the partners, the contact editing interface should not be visible. It should become visible when a partner is being edited or added.

Target audience

Healthcare management professionals who are not necessarily IT experts.
