Welcome to CSFV Website Games Page Redesign Contest. We want to improve the look and feel of the games showcase page of a gaming website. We need creativity and nice design execution to achieve the goal. Jump in now!

Round 1

For your R1 deliverables please submit all the features requested under “Design Requirements” section.

Round 2

Final design will contain all the requested features under “Design Requirements” section plus any updates from client feedback.

The primary goal of this contest is to improve the look and feel of a games listing page inspired by a specific reference you will follow. The design challenge is to make the page really exciting and friendly by using neat-large graphics.

Branding and Guidelines
- Use Template.psd to work your design within. That’s the actual games page, remove it and use the same width. You can use any height you need.
- Use web-safe fonts. If you have any issue with the provided source file fonts just replace those fonts with a regular one (like Arial) and add a note in your submission explaining you made the change. You will be asked to replace those fonts if you become the winner. Declare your fonts according to the Studio font’s policies.
- Colors must match and appeal the current colors from the provided design.
- Provide hover effects/screens for all the UI elements you design.
- Think of web 2.0 when you’re creating your solution. We want to appeal to teens, and the general population.

Design Requirements
We expect an updated games page that lists the games on the website in a very graphical manner. One single page with a carousel and a list below.

Carousel
- Our main reference is Funzio. See that carousel on home page; we’d like something like that, something large, highly graphic and appealing.
- The carousel must display 5 games but you’ll design the artwork for only one game to be showcased on this carousel, Stormbound. Use placeholders for the other 4 game slots. The carousel should show 5 slots, one game at a time (sliding - show animation or effect if you want).
- Use the resources from Stormbound Assets (download from Google Drive or download from Dropbox).
- Design a stunning and prominent artwork about Stormbound. We need to showcase this game as a difficult puzzle game where the colors are very important (Jade, amethyst, citron, etc) as are the characters. When looking at this image you are designing, we want to paint an accurate picture of the actual game in as much detail as we can.
- This image needs show at least one screenshot of the game.
- Utilize comic art but keep the colors as they are important. Focus on the art in the "StormBound_ComicStyleArt" folder, while still using the Funzio style.
- Show 3 or 4 characters but we don't want the background of the characters. Only the black line art and colored character interior.
- No iPad image (unlike in the Funzio example).
- Use the Stormbound logo.
- Provide a “Play Now” button somewhere. The text should be editable, so use a web-safe font.

Games List
- Below the carousel we are listing the games with a graphic, short description and “Play Now” button.
- See games list from Funzio games (below ipone&ipad, android, facebook, google+ buttons).
- Show 5 games as a list with the mentioned features.

** Funzio is a reference for layout and feel, DON’T COPY ANYTHING or you’ll fail screening.

Target Audience
Casual gamers, everyone who likes games from children to adult persons.

Judging Criteria
- Consistency with the current look of the site.
- Design Quality.
- Originality.

Submission File
All requested contest requirements/screens as JPG or PNG files at 72dpi.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD files.

Preview Image
Create a 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode and place a screenshot from your submission within it.
