Challenge Summary

The Healthcare Fraud Prevention Project (HFPP) is a network of insurance companies that will exchange data in order to identify suspicious claims. In this contest, we are asking you to design a web page that will be used by system administrators to enter and edit partner data. We are providing you with wireframes that fully define the web page, and we also have an HTML prototype for the overall web application.

Overview

The attachment partner.management.zip contains clickable wireframes that define the partner management UI. The storyboards for this UI should blend in well with the existing HTML prototype, which is attached in the file app.zip.

The minimum overall page width (browser width) is 1000 pixels.

The partner management UI consists of two tabs:

  • Partners: This is the primary tab. The administrator can view, edit, and add partners to the app's database.
  • Tags: This secondary tag is used exclusively to edit the tags that are added to partners.

Both tabs must be storyboarded.

Modifications

We are making a departure from the wireframes by moving the deletion feature from the partner list into the individual partner view.

  • The checkboxes must be removed from the partner list at left.
  • Also remove the "Select All" feature.
  • Move the Delete button to the top of the "Partner detail information" area at right. The positioning is up to you.
  • Add a confirmation pop-up window that says, "Warning: you are about to delete all information about this partner. Proceed?"
  • Add Cancel and Okay buttons to the confirmation pop-up.

Another modification we require is that you redesign the icons and tag graphics with a color palette that complements the existing web app.

Requirements

Apart from the modifications noted above, the entirety of both tabs (Partners and Tags) must be storyboarded.

Please explore the following major interactions in the primary tab (Partners):

  • Add new partner: Brings up blank editing views for the partner and the contact list.
  • Add new contact: Pops up a contact editor.
  • Edit (partner detail): Changes the partner view to editing mode.
  • Edit (contacts): Changes the contact list to editing mode.
  • View detail (contact): Pops up a detailed read-only view of the contact.

And the following major interactions in the secondary tab (Tags):

  • Add new tag: Pops up a blank tag editor.
  • Edit (tag): Pops up the tag editor.

There are also numerous minor interactions. Please design all buttons and interface elements accordingly.

Target audience

Healthcare management professionals who are using a web app to search for suspicious claims.
