Challenge Summary

Welcome to the Lenovo Multimode Social Engagement - Show Us Your Mode Competition Storyboard Contest. The purpose of this contest is to design the NEW Submission pages of Multimode Social Engagement of Lenovo Brand Expression Portal to help create brand awareness and genuine brand engagement by using crowdsourcing to invite users globally to show their personal mode in life with our suite of Multimode products, with the focus on the Yoga 2 Pro

For this contest, you going to design 4 pages, 2 minor page version, and 1 modal screen outlined in the requirement section.

Round 1

1) Initial submission design of the pages with all their features mentioned in the Requirement section. 
2) Any note for the client about your submission
3) Number your submission (01, 02, 03, etc...) for easy client's review 

 

Round 2

1) Final submission design with all the pages and their features mentioned in the Requirement section, plus any checkpoint update.
2) Any note for the client about your submission
3) Number your submission (01, 02, 03, etc...) for easy client's review 


Primary Goal & Design Considerations
The primary goal of this contest is to design the pages of Lenovo Brand Expression Portal for our "Show your mode..." Contest. We already have initial design but we need to cover the additional pages defined in the provided PDF wireframe document with additional notes outlined in the requirements section. 

Requirements
Design the following pages: 

1. Competition Landing page
- see page #1 of the provided PDF wireframe document for reference
- for the site navigation, please refer to the provided Storyboards header/masthead
- Competition title will be "Show us your mode. Just like the Lenovo Yoga, everyone of us has different modes"
- Copy about the competition details will be:

How to participate?
Step 1: First upload a photo of yourself in your mode
Step 2: Create your own mode from scratch or Users can choose to either create an icon/ mode using the template and ready made icons or users can choose to upload a completely new icon.
Step 3: Describe your mode
Step 4: Go for the win! Submit your entry.

Lenovo is giving away Top 15 prizes and we're selecting entries from all that are submitted.

Users will be able to vote for their favorite from the top 15. We are only allowing 1 vote per user ID for this contest

We will be opening up the Top 15 for voting and will be giving away USD 10K for the grand prize.

2. All Entries page
- there are now specific reference page in the PDF document for this page but you may refer to "View some featured mode submissions" section of page #1 for some reference 
- this page in general will display all submitted competition entries of all the users 

3. Creating Submission pages
- see page #2 and #3 of the provided PDF wireframe document for reference
- default page view will be similar to the elements shown page #2
- use the provided icons as placeholder for the mode icons, please keep in mind that we eventually going to change these icons
- show how hover style when selecting a mode icon

3.1. Upload Icon tab 
- create a version of Creating Submission page showing the "Upload your own icon" tab, see page #3 for reference

3.2 Paste URL field
- show a version of
 Creating Submission page for when user click the "paste URL" field in step 1 to show the field for entering the URL 

4. Preview Submission modal
- see page #4 of the provided PDF wireframe document for reference of this page
- please use any existing modal style from the provided storyboard to remain consisten 

5. Sharing Submission page
- please refer to page #5 of the provided PDF wireframe document for reference of this page
- this page is meant for sharing the user's submitted entry to his/her own social medial account 

Branding Guidelines
- Maintain the look and feel of the provided PSDs
- Header and Footer elements should remain consistent amongst all pages
- Utilize any existing element to remain consistent with the provided storyboard
- you can use brand related images from this site

Target Audience
- Creatives and Art schools, Prosumers, Net-Gen college student 

Judging Criteria
- Adhere to Lenovo branding based on the provided storyboard
- Cleanliness, Creativity, and Graphics Appeals 

Submission & Source Files
Preview Image
Create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024 JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Please upload PNG/JPEG images in a zip file with all requested contest requirements stated above.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD files. 

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics, images (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. 

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

Stock Photography

Stock photography is not allowed in this challenge. All submitted elements must be designed solely by you. See this page for more details.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Submission format

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.
