Challenge Summary

Welcome to the 2013 Topcoder Open Studio Mixer Promo Design Contest! The Studio Mixer is an awesome party where designers, design agencies and design schools get to connect with each other - over a lot of really fun events. This contest requires you to design a promotional graphic for this, to accompany event descriptions where it is posted online.

Round 1

Your initial design for checkpoint review.

Round 2

Your final design, after incorporating checkpoint feedback.

Your task for this contest is to design a promotional graphic/poster that looks eye-catching and inviting, and fresh - that contains all the information about the Studio Mixer event. Remember you are designing for an event for designers, so the graphic design standards must be very high! Try to do something unique that will stand out - it could be an illustration (hand drawn or vector), a typography-based design, something minimal and clever, we're looking to see how artistic and creative you can get. This graphic will accompany event descriptions when they are posted online, you can see these guidelines for reference.

Design Requirements:
- The width of the graphic should be 609px, height is not a constraint.
- The title of the poster should be "Studio Mixer"
- The new TopCoder Studio logo must be included (attached: StudioLogos.zip)
- The following information needs to be displayed:
Date and time: Nov 12, from 5pm-9pm
 Venue: Capital Hilton
Other Content: food, beverages, art gallery, and live design competition!
