http://community.topcoder.com/longcontest/?module=ViewProblemStatement&rd=15765&pm=12621
This idea contest is open to all TopCoder members, regardless of whether or not you took part in the Marathon Match. However, we are interested in fresh and unusual ideas that did not score among the top four in the Marathon Match.
Requirements
You may describe your idea at any length and in any manner that you feel is necessary to convey the concept. Sketches, diagrams, and pseudocode are allowed and encouraged in addition to free-form text. The more clearly you express your idea, the more likely we are to appreciate it.
Submissions will be judged subjectively by algorithm experts. Novelty and potential effectiveness are among the judging criteria.
If your idea has interesting variations, please describe those as well. You may also submit several independent ideas; you are free to submit as many ideas as you like. Each independent idea will be judged separately.
Prize payment
We will award a prize of $700 to the best idea and $300 to the second best idea.
Contrary to what it says at the top of the page, there is no reliability bonus in this contest.
Furthermore, this is an unrated contest. It will not affect your reliability or rating in the Content Creation track.
